Jessie Chung is back with her latest studio album There You Are.
Mastered and produced in Australia, the breakthrough album fuses indie rock and modern sounds.

Each and every track on Jessie’s album is a glimmering gem hidden with stories drawn from her person experiences. Jessie Chung – There You Are
Verse 1
Sometimes I lose my breath
When I think of you
Now you're gone
You built a place in my heart
That we will always call home
And belong

Bridge
My heart collides with a memory
That somehow sounds like a song

Pre-Chorus
Your memory it sings to me
Like a precious lullaby
Your love that soars on eagles' wings
Is blessed and sanctified

CHORUS
'Cause where there is love
There you are
Where there is hope
In the ever after
Where there's a song
With you in my heart
There you are
Play your part
And live in me

Verse 2
Sometimes I see your face
In our last embrace
Now you're gone
I recollect my tears
And the finest years
In a song

Bridge
Pre-Chorus

MV Director Scares Jessie Chung to Tears Jessie Paralyses in the Freezing Rain

28 September 2016, Gold Coast,Australia: :Jessie Chung, who is currently immersed within her hectic MV shooting schedule, came face to face with a life-threatening incident once again!

To film the MV for her single Someplace Honest, Jessie Chung, her director, and other personnel rented a campervan to capture some scenes on the mountain. However, during the trip up the mountain, they approached a steep slope located on the edge of a cliff; the heavy campervan struggled to climb up, and the team got stuck halfway up the mountain.

Setbacks appeared, but the clock continues to tick, and the team couldn’t afford to lose another moment. Failure to arrive to the location before sunrise meant that they would lose the golden opportunity for an optimal shot. Knowing that, the director insisted to move forward, he had to get to the destination at all costs. As the campervan crept up the hill, it lost its balance and began to tilt towards the cliff. Luckily, some of the personnel were alert enough to get out and support the campervan, preventing a tragedy.

The close call literally scared Jessie to tears. “Everyone was shocked at that time. I was sitting in the cabin praying for our safety while climbing up the hill; the next second I knew, the campervan started shaking, and all personnel ran out of the campervan to help. I was sure that I was going to die in the valley this time, thank goodness nothing happened. Things could have been much worse.”

In a short while, a car passed by, allowing Jessie Chung and her team to hitch hike their way up to the mountain.
Paralyses in the Freezing Rain
To capture the atmosphere of the song, the director asked Jessie to sing in pouring rain. It was winter time in Australia, and the temperature was barely above ten degrees Celsius. Soaked wet by the freezing rain, Jessie shivered in the cold, but she held out. After enduring for more than ten minutes, her extremities began to turn bluish-purple, but the director was eager to get a few more precious shots. Towards the end, Jessie was so cold that she lost the ability to speak, and she sat paralysed in the rain. The director was frightened when he saw the situation, and he immediately carried her to somewhere warm.

“I felt the cold seething into my bones, and I was so cold that I couldn’t move, even my heart felt numb. The director asked if I was still alive, but I couldn’t answer him, because my mouth was cold and paralyzed too.” said Jessie emotionally, “Fortunately, I take good care of my health every day, otherwise I would have probably been dead.” Jessie also took the opportunity to warn all heart disease patients not to get soaked in cold rain.

Jessie Chung Marries Charming Caucasian in MV and Falls under a Spell a Once

GOLD COAST, 23 September 2016: Jessie Chung puts on the bridal gown once again, this time in Australia! Surprisingly, her bridegroom is a charming Caucasian!

Don’t get me wrong, that was just one of the scenes in Jessie Chung’s latest fairytale-like MV “Someplace Honest”. Director Elijah Cavanagh arranged for a dreamy wedding ceremony, delicately depicting a young girl’s eager heart waiting for the “big day”. An elegant bridal gown, traditional horse-drawn carriage, romantic garden, sweet-smelling corsages, and… a handsome Caucasian husband-to-be all placed Jessie under a dreamy spell!

“Australian men are so charismatic!” Jessie Chung stated during interview, bubbling up with anecdotes during MV shoot. She said that she felt like she was getting married again, but with a twist this time. To put on a bridal gown but not knowing who the bridegroom is caused her heart to go pit-a-pat.

Until the very moment she stepped on the red carpet, that was when she saw the actor from a distance. As she got closer and closer, Jessie said she felt like someone who is falling in love for the first time. Not knowing what to do, she was enraptured by Prince Charming. The actor gracefully took her tiny hand and smiled at her. “God, I was hypnotized by him! Thankfully I snapped out of my daydream when the director yelled ‘cut’,” said Jessie embarrassingly.

In the face of a formidable “rival”, her husband Joshua Beh was not going to play second fiddle; he maintained his prominence by looking after Jessie at all times. Wanting to capture the sentiment of thinking about a lover in the rain in one scene, the director asked Jessie to sing in the rain. With only thin clothing on, the freezing winter rain quickly penetrated Jessie, paralyzing every bit of her body.

After holding out for more than ten minutes, Joshua couldn’t stand it anymore. Before the director even yelled “cut”, he threw a blanket over Jessie and brought her on the car to get cozy. The director was taken aback by his actions. “No matter how romantic and dreamy this wedding is, I believe the person who loves me the most is my husband Joshua Beh,” said Jessie emotionally. Just like what the song expressed, he is the truest, dependable man.

Although the incident almost caused someone’s life, Jessie is nevertheless satisfied with the director’s work. She expressed her joy towards the MV, and stated that this MV is her favorite and the most enjoyable one to watch out of all her MVs. Both male and female audiences expressed their appraisals towards the final product, mainly because everyone longed for a picturesque wedding just like the one portrayed in it.

“Someplace Honest” describes a young girl’s desire, a longing for someone true to depend on. Following the current romantic wedding trend, Australia’s Future Entertainment & Music Group has decided to gift one lucky fan with an expensive Swiss-made Burberry diamond watch to wish everyone with a permanent and long-lasting love. The rules of the game are very simple, all the participant has to do is answer a short question to enter into the draw. Fans who are interested can go to Jessie’s Facebook page for more details.

Jessie Chung Risks Losing Her Life Whilst Speeding in MV

Australia, 12 September 2016:The MV of the title track of Jessie Chung’s all new English album, There You Are has surmounted a quarter-million views on YouTube in less than two weeks; meanwhile Jessie has flown to Australia to film the MV for her second single on the album, Drive My Heart.

The director had higher expectations this time, and things went for a turn when he made Jessie speed through a narrow passage in the mountains during one scene.  Jessie took the wheel herself while the director brought his camera along and rode shotgun next to her. When Jessie asked the director how fast she should drive, the director replied surprisingly, “as fast as possible”. Upon taking her “orders”, she pedaled to the metal and began an exhilarating run through the mountain pass. The narrow pass was full of twists and turns, but nothing was going to stop the director from asking more; he required Jessie to look at the camera time after time while singing the lyrics simultaneously. As a result, Jessie came close to colliding with oncoming vehicles driving on the other side of the road many times. In one case, a car came from the opposite side as she turned her steering wheel at the last moment, barely avoiding the catastrophe. She and the director turned pale after experiencing the close-call, but the director was relentless and willing to keep trying. Under the circumstance, Jessie was forced to take up her cross and finish the scene under dangerous conditions.

Other scene required Jessie to stand and perform on a steep hillside; walking along the side of the hill was quite dangerous already, but the director asked Jessie to sing and lose herself on the edge. Jessie remained obedient, and she disregarded her own safety. While she unreservedly performed, she totally lost her balance and tumbled down the hillside. Luckily, personnel were able to take hold of her in time, and she was saved from the fate of falling further down, all the way into the ravine. Everyone was utterly shocked by the incident. The fall gave Jessie a fair amount of cuts and bruises on her extremities, but she continued to film despite the hardship.

Afterwards, shooting moved into the studio, and in order to achieve certain visual effects, the director brought in a fog machine. However, the artificial fog made the stage very slippery, and Jessie who had high heels on slipped and slammed on the ground with a loud “boom” during one of the takes. It took her quite a while to stand up after the fall, and examination revealed that her thighs and bottom were severely bruised. The director contemplated halting production, but Jessie, not wanting to delay the team, insisted to continue filming despite the pain. Her dedication and passion caused a wave of applause to rise among the personnel. Jessie indicated that although filming process was quite arduous, and progress was slow and hindered by many obstacles, she had the drive and persistence to pull herself up by her bootstraps and “finish the race” every time she thought of her fans and friends who support her. On the other hand, she’s also very eager to see the MV of <Drive My Heart> come into realization.

Subang Jaya, 2 September 2016: After widespread enthusiastic response received by the There You Are Launching Show in Kuching, Jessie Chung didn’t wait and she immediately held the third launching show to see her fans at Sunway Pyramid.

When Jessie Chung appeared on stage with shimmering blonde hair spilling down her back and a glossy, molasses-colored leather jacket on her, a flame started up among her fans, and the whole crowd ignited in excitement in no time.

While everyone was boiling over with emotions, a little mishap occurred: A drunken middle-aged man attempted to go on stage to dance with Jessie, but luckily security personnel stopped him in time and asked him to leave. During the encore, Jessie Chung threw a bunch of love-shaped pillows to the crowd, causing several people to scramble forward to get a chance to catch the limited-edition gifts. The situation soon got out of control, and it was like feeding time at the zoo!
